Barrier III Metal Primers are fast-drying phenolic modified universal alkyd primers.
 
They may be used as a tie coat primer to an aged alkyd enamel to upgrade to a more high-performance topcoat. Barrier III has good weathering characteristics to protect metal in storage, transit or during construction. It may be top-coated with a variety of finish coats including alkyds, epoxies, most coal tars, chlorinated rubber, emulsions and polyurethanes.
